Oto Matka Twoja - Behold Thy Mother

This is the copy of the famous Image at Jasna Góra. It was commissioned by Archbishop (later Cardinal) Wyszyński while he was in a communist gaol and later under house arrest in 1953 - 1956. He wanted those who could not afford to go to Częstochowa to be able to venerate the picture and strengthen their Faith under communism.

It is currently touring Northern Poland in a special van, with police and fire brigade escorts.
Here it is being processed to the Capuchin Church nearby in Krynice Morska, on the Baltic.
The uniformed men are firemen.

Notice the red, white, gold, and blue bunting, which stretched for miles along the road the Picture was due to travel
